The design for this shade garden created a formal structure of evergreen Holly, Laurel and Plum Yew that will remain throughout the year whilst the softer, looser textures of Witchhazel, Oakleaf Hydrangea, Astilbe and ferns will contrast and change as the seasons progress. In the sunniest corner the native Aronia and Blueberry will attract wildlife and provide screening. This garden has just been installed (May 2010).
